Millennium Challenge Account - Tanzania

Daniel W. Yohannes has been confirmed as new MCC CEO. In his remarks during the swearing ceremony which took place on 8th  December 2009 in Washington, he started, "MCC is expanding opportunities for the world's poor. Together with MCC's dedicated  professionals, we must build on this progress. MCC has learned a great deal from its first few years. And now we must show results, be more innovative in MCC's compact programs, and find more ways to involve and encourage the private sector".
