THE PERMANENT SECRETARY MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND MCA-T BOARD CHAIRMAN ON SITE VISIT TO MAFIA AIRPOT WHERE THE MITIGATION OF ERODED RAVINE WORK IS GOING ON

The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Finance and MCA-T board chairman Dr. Servacius Likwelile, made a site visit to the area around Mafia Airport where the mitigation of the eroded ravine work is going on. Mafia airport was in danger of soil erosion problem, something that was about to eat away the runway at the Airport. In order to prevent it, MCA-T send the request to the Board and they approved the mitigation proposal for the Mafia airport soil erosion problem, something that was about to eat away the runway at the Mafia Airport.

During the visit, the PS appreciated the magnitude of the impending danger to the existence of Mafia airport and inspected the progress of the ongoing remedial drainage works. With the completion of the ongoing works the erosion problem will be resolved and Maria Airport will be safe. The site visit involved Mr. Bernard .S Mchomvu MCA-T CEO, Mr. Ahmed Rashid, MCA-T Deputy CEO (Z) and Eng. Godson Ngomuo.
