The Approved projects for Transport sector are as follows;
  1. Upgrading/Construction of Tunduma Sumbawanga Road to Bitumen Standards (224.5km)
  2. Upgrading/Construction of Tanga Horohoro Road to Bitumen Standard (68 km).
  3. Upgrading of the Mafia Island Airport
  4. Upgrading of Mtwara Corridor;
  • Namtumbo Songea Road (61.km)
  • Peramiho Mbinga Road (78.0 km)
5. Upgrading/Construction of five (5) rural roads in Pemba (Approximately 35.0 km) to Bitumen Standard;
  • Mzambarauni Takao Pandani Finya Road (8.3 km)
  • Mzambarauni Karimu Mapofu Road (8.3 km)
  • Bahanansa Daya Mtambwe Road (13.1 km)
  • Chwale Road (2.0 km) and
  • Kipangani Kangagani road (3 km)
