Signing of the Works Contract for the Tanga - Horohoro Road Project

Today the 22nd of December 2009 the Millennium Challenge Account - Tanzania (MCA-T) has signed the first major work contract with Sinohydro Corporation Ltd from China worth Tzs 69.9 billion (approximately USD 53.8) to upgrade the Tanga - Horohoro Road (65Km) to bitumen standard. MCA-T Signs Contracts for Works Supervision for Tanga - Horohoro and Mtwara Corridor Roads Projects

MCA - Tanzania has signed two work supervision contract, one with Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats (ICT) Pvt Ltd of India for Tanga - Horohoro road and second with Nicholas O'Dwyer Consulting Engineering of Inreland for the Mtwara Corridor roads (Songea - Namtumbo - 61 km and Peramiho - Mbinga - 78 km). Construction Project Management Training for MCA-Tanzania and MCA-Mozambique Staff 24th – 25th August 2009 at Peacock Hotel City Centre, Dar es Salaam

Millennium Challenge Account - Tanzania (MCA-T) in collaboration with Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) of the United States of America and Millennium Challenge Account – Mozambique (MCA-MZ) have organized a two days Construction Project Management Training to be attended by MCA-T and MCA-MZ senior officials. The training will take place at the Peacock Hotel City Centre in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania starting from the 24th August 2009 and the official opening will be graced by Deputy Permanent Secretary to the Treasury, Mr. J.
