The Morogoro Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (MORUWASA), is an entity charged with the overall operation and management of water supply and sewerage services in Morogoro Municipality replacing the former Urban Water Supply Department, which operated under the Regional Administration.

MORUWASA aspires to be a water authority of excellence, dependable, best provider of water supply and sewerage services to the Morogoro Municipality and beyond, and to have its own culture, identity and operational philosophy.

Mission

The MORUWASA’s mission is to provide enough, clean and safe water to the Morogoro Municipal area and to avail an environmentally and hygienically acceptable high quality sewerage service in the municipality.
