Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) was established on1st July, 2000 to take over the responsibilities for the management, development and maintenance of the trunk and regional roads network.

Vision.
To be leading Road Agency in Africa, dedicated to providing a well developed all weather road network to support to support the economic and social development of Tanzania.

Mission
To develop, maintain and manage the Trunk and Regional Roads in an efficient manner for a sustainable and safe network, consistent with the Poverty Reduction Strategy and other Government policies.
